Product description The Imou A1 - 4MP is a budget indoor security camera with PT(Z) function (355-degree rotation, 90-degree tilt and 16x digital zoom). The A1 - 4MP offers outstanding imaging thanks to 4MP (QHD, 1440P) resolution image display. The A1 is incredibly easy to install, just download the Imou Life app and follow simple steps. The A1 has infrared night vision up to 10 metres, features full duplex two-way speech (listening and hearing). Furthermore, it gives notification of movement and loud noise and installation material is included (screws, plugs and mounting plate). Installation You download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in with your account, press the "+" sign at the top right of the Imou app to add an Imou camera. Next, scan the QR code on your camera and follow the simple steps in the app. Then select, your WiFi network (2.4 GHz) and make sure the camera is close to your router during the installation process. Image quality Thanks to the 4MP (QHD, 1440P) lens, the camera offers excellent image quality with a resolution of: 2560 x 1440. At the same time, the H.265 image compression technique used ensures that high-quality recordings and streams take up relatively little space and thus require less bandwidth. This allows optimal use of available storage space and bandwidth. Night vision When it gets dark, the camera activates its Infrared spotlight to still display clear images in shades of grey in the dark. Note: infrared reflects on glass, so it is not recommended to place the camera behind a window, for instance. For outdoors, it is recommended to buy an Imou outdoor camera. Baby monitor This camera is also perfect for use as a baby monitor. You can keep an eye on your newborn with razor-sharp images, but you can also hear what is happening. This can be done on your Smartphone, but also on your Windows PC. You can also set it to notify you as soon as movement is detected or if a strange sound is heard (e.g. crying). WiFi & LAN The camera has a built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi chip. In addition, it also has an Ethernet port for wired connection. It is recommended to use a powerful WiFi router at all times. In doing so, it is advisable to separate the 2.4 GHz channel from 5.0 GHz in the settings. This promotes the stability of the connection.
